The Compound Newham Street Gym in east London is a not-for-profit organisation for young people and adults seeking to improve their physical and mental health. The gym is also an important hub for the rehabilitation of those affected by local gang wars and knife crime. In this short documentary, actor, filmmaker and martial artist Islah Abdur-Rahman introduces us to Compound founder Raheel Butt, who discusses how he is working with local youth and activists to reduce the number of knife crime incidents in London.
