As Ramadan draws to an end and Eid al-Fitr celebration preparations begin, sweets are a huge part of the festivities. This year, Ramadan is expected to end between 18 and 20 March, depending on the sighting of the moon, and as Eid approaches, sweets take centre stage at the celebration table – from rich brownie bites to traditional mithai and showstopping cakes.

For many, this period includes gathering with family and friends, exchanging gifts and sharing a sweet treat after a month of fasting. Whether you’re planning a big gathering, looking for thoughtful Eid gifts, or simply want something sweet to serve your loved ones, a number of bakeries and dessert companies across the UK are offering festive collections.

Here are some UK-based bakeries where you can order or collect Eid desserts.
